NBA has begun

Finally! Something to watch on TV now. Hopefully I can stay updated watching games and updating my fantasy. Well today the Cavs lost, but Lakers owned.

This man right here.

I'm going to wear this shirt every Laker game day.

Whatever

Well, I've been acting normal now. I still haven't found out what got me to act all weird last week. But whatever, I don't want it to come back. Well actually, I don't mind it coming back cause I'm always up for a challenge to actually find out who I really am.

Today, we lost our soccer game 3-2. I've never had so much intensity, anger, and frustration. I scored a PK, but that didn't matter. We were still down 2-1. Josh scored, but it was still a tie. With about 10 minutes left, our opponent scored so make the score 3-2.

Once they scored I was so angry and frustrated. I wanted our team to score right away since time was ticking. We had a good possession for the last couple minutes, but we didn't score. I was pretty mad at myself though. I had a good chance to tie it, but I fcked up. That's life I guess. But it's in the past now. Some guy wanted to start sht, but I didn't care. I'm not that type of person. Well anyways, homecoming week has been great. Free dress ftw, haha. Kay, bye!

I wish things would go back to how they used to be.

MHS Homecoming 2008

Homecoming was pretty fun. It was a great experience, and I'm glad I got to go with great people. Everyone from MHS is just so fun to be around, I swear. I love them. Like, if I didn't care about my education I wouldn't mind kicking myself out of my current HS just to go to MHS, hahah. But yeah, overall it was cool. After homecoming, hella people went to Denny's. What a tiring/fun night!

Why am I feeling this way

Wow, so this past week I've been acting so strange. Like I haven't been myself at all. I feel like I forgot everything about my life, friends, family, and other things. I hate this feeling and I really want things to go back to normal. God, please help me. I just don't know anymore. Like, I don't even know what to blog about. Ehhh, whatever.

Homecoming week is coming up. MHS homecoming was pretty cool. Got so tired after since most people went to denny's till 2. Yeah, I just want to start over with everything.

10 reasons why you are not rich

Here are 10 more possible reasons you aren't rich:
http://finance.yahoo.com/banking-budgeting/article/105934/10-Reasons-You're-Not-Rich

You care what your car looks like: A car is a means of transportation to get from one place to another, but many people don't view it that way. Instead, they consider it a reflection of themselves and spend money every two years or so to impress others instead of driving the car for its entire useful life and investing the money saved.

You feel entitlement: If you believe you deserve to live a certain lifestyle, have certain things and spend a certain amount before you have earned to live that way, you will have to borrow money. That large chunk of debt will keep you from building wealth.

You lack diversification: There is a reason one of the oldest pieces of financial advice is to not keep all your eggs in a single basket. Having a diversified investment portfolio makes it much less likely that wealth will suddenly disappear.

You started too late: The magic of compound interest works best over long periods of time. If you find you're always saying there will be time to save and invest in a couple more years, you'll wake up one day to find retirement is just around the corner and there is still nothing in your retirement account.

You don't do what you enjoy: While your job doesn't necessarily need to be your dream job, you need to enjoy it. If you choose a job you don't like just for the money, you'll likely spend all that extra cash trying to relieve the stress of doing work you hate.

You don't like to learn: You may have assumed that once you graduated from college, there was no need to study or learn. That attitude might be enough to get you your first job or keep you employed, but it will never make you rich. A willingness to learn to improve your career and finances are essential if you want to eventually become wealthy.

You buy things you don't use: Take a look around your house, in the closets, basement, attic and garage and see if there are a lot of things you haven't used in the past year. If there are, chances are that all those things you purchased were wasted money that could have been used to increase your net worth.

You don't understand value: You buy things for any number of reasons besides the value that the purchase brings to you. This is not limited to those who feel the need to buy the most expensive items, but can also apply to those who always purchase the cheapest goods. Rarely are either the best value, and it's only when you learn to purchase good value that you have money left over to invest for your future.

Visit the Banking & Budgeting Center
Your house is too big: When you buy a house that is bigger than you can afford or need, you end up spending extra money on longer debt payments, increased taxes, higher upkeep and more things to fill it. Some people will try to argue that the increased value of the house makes it a good investment, but the truth is that unless you are willing to downgrade your living standards, which most people are not, it will never be a liquid asset or money that you can ever use and enjoy.

You fail to take advantage of opportunities: There has probably been more than one occasion where you heard about someone who has made it big and thought to yourself, "I could have thought of that." There are plenty of opportunities if you have the will and determination to keep your eyes open.

Value

Today was such a great day. Thank God It's Friday was all that went through my mind. I couldn't wait to enjoy to start my 3 day weekend. Today was a wonderful way to start it off. I had a soccer game after school so I got to miss 6th period, but we lost 7-0 haha! Oh well, we "beat" them last time. I'm just glad the embarrassment is over, haha.

After the soccer game I had to go straight home and change real quick for the first confirmation meeting. I was pretty excited for it since I was looking forward to meeting new people. It was pretty cool. I got candy, haha. Then we talked about like what expectations I must do for the confirmation class and yeah. It was dope.

After confirmation, Adrian, Kathleen, and I walked over to YFC in Pavalkis. The theme for that night was Value. We came in late so we had our own group and we talked about our highs and lows. My high was going to the Sophomore retreat wednesday and getting all the Happy Birthday's from friends. My low was losing 7-0 today, haha. Rest of YFC was great, it was cool seeing everyone. Marykay, I hope your read this!

Sophomore Retreat

So today was a day where all the Sophomores got to get away from school. We went to this place in Santa Cruz like Mission Springs or something. But the bus ride was fun, haha. The bathroom smelled gross, and the door kept opening haha. So that sucked. It was funny pouring water on people's seats making their butts wet, haha. Sorry if you guys got mad. But yeah, the retreat was alright. Not that fun, but pretty fun. It was soo tiriing at the end after playing basketball though. On the way back, it was funner. Lawrence and Anthony kept going at it, and throwing Vince's sweaty muddy wife beater everywhere was hella funny. So yeah, that's it. Happy Birthday's Eve to me!

7-0

Today, I was really looking forward to our soccer game against Kehilla. I felt ready, especially with my short haircut haha. But yeah. After school I had a strawberries wild with a banana so that I wouldn't get a cramp in the game again like the past weeeks. After jamba, we went to the soccer field.

When we got there we saw a 49er again, but not sure which one haha. There was this funny moment with coach also. He saw my shoes and was like "got some new wheels on there eh Raymond?" and I was like "No coach, this is not my car." Then he was like "Your shoes you dipwit or something. So I started hella laughing.

About the gameeeeee! We ended up winning with a score of 7-0, haha. Our second half was dumb cause we only had 1 goal scored. In the second half we had 6 goals scored. 3 by me, 3 by John Sauer, and 1 by Helen. Coach Justin owes me a huf hat for scoring another hat trick. I was happy with our game. Now I'm excited for tomorrow. Sophomore retreat ftw!

Year of the Gentlemen.

So today was a normal day. In the end I listened to Ne-Yo's newest album. It's one of my favorites. Troy WAS right about it. These are the tracks that keep me in a happy mood.

1. Closer
3. Single
4. Mad
5. Miss Independent
8. So You Can Cry

I can always count on these tracks.

Dear God, thank you for everything.

Hopeful.

Coming back from YFC last night made me feel so refreshed/relieved. Going there just makes me feel happy especially being with everyone. "Big Brother" is my hero. And meeting new people yesterday was coool. I'm pretty excited for Confirmation as well. Better people than I thought, haha.

Well when I woke up today I thought it was going to be a shitty day cause I saw that it was hella raining. So I went back to sleep. When I woke up, the rain was gone and all I saw was the sunshine. It seemed like I've never seen anything so peaceful with the sky. The clouds were just perfect. So I felt like doing something that would make my dad happy. So I cleaned most of the house. First I swiped all the floors in the house. I was so amazed with all the dust I collected! But it was good to see everything clean. My dad and I are going to clean the family room tomorrow.

After cleaning, my dad and I planned to go to Daly City for his basketball game for work. It was the Mountain View Post Office against Los Gatos Post Office I think. My dad's team got OWNED. I think the score was 57-17 or something, haha. But it was alright. My dad scored a free throw, that's it. After watching the game we ate at this one noodle house restaurant. It was bomb. I wanted to eat a lot cause I didn't eat much the whole day. I had tocilog, saopao, and halo halo. Wonderful meal. Then we went home. Sorry I missed the SV festival guys.
